In the beginning, there was Disc, and Disc said, "Let there be
Ego!", and NYNYDisc was created, and all was good.  And NYNY
said, "Let there be championships", and there were, and that
too was good.  All paid homage before the mighty NYNY.  The
pretenders were smote ("Thou shalt have no other gods before
me"), and NY reigned for eternity.  In the land called Boston,
the prophet moonee foretold of a future day when the first
shall be second and the second shall be first.  He spake,
"Forsooth, Disc's one and only Son shall be sent down to lead
us from bondage, to free us from the oppression of the Pharoah
Dobyns.  There shall be a Messiah, who cometh to save the
world and create a new and everlasting covenant."  And so the
Rude Boys were created, and the Rude Boys begat Titanic, and
Titanic begat First Time Gary, and First Time Gary begat Big
Brother and the Holding Company, and Big Brother begat the
Unified Team, and the Unified Team begat the Commies, and the
Commies begat Big Brother, but yet his People continued to
suffer.  There arose a new and greater prophet Corky, and the
Revelation came down to the prophet Corky, who told the master
prophet moonee/Methusaleh, "I have seen the Messiah, and his
name is Testosterone Man, and he shall lead us from the curse
of darkness." And Big Brother begat Death or Glory, and Death
or Glory conquered the fallen angel NYNY, and on the seventh
day Disc rested, since all was again good.
