Cojones' offense

You can check out the full offensive stats for reference. I'll highlight what I think is relevant here.

Statistically, Cojones' offense may have been the best at Nationals. Their noteworthy offensive accomplishments include:

Got scored on far less than any other team. In three games, they did not get scored on on any point that they received the pull, and in one other game it happened once. So in four of their games, their team got scored on in consecutive points only once. Double Happiness had one game like that, while DoG's offense got scored on at least twice in every game except the final.

Had the best "offensive defense", which is another way to look at the previous point. After their offense turned it over, their defensive efficiency was by far the best (26.7%, next best 35.6%, average 47.4%), and better than when they put their defensive squad out there (31.8%, the best percentage of any team). Too many numbers?
Was second in efficiency immediately off the pull behind DoG.
Was barely second behind DoG again in overall offensive efficiency.
Tied for lowest number of "hell points" with 5, hell point defined as any point where the offense turns it over at least twice.
Highest percentage on second chance offensive points.

Other factors come in, of course. Maybe they felt like they had to prove something in each pool play game, so they played each point as if it were do-or-die. That certainly wasn't our philosophy, which was to score easily or not at all (unless it was late and it was close). But their numbers are pretty impressive.

Their offense on paper wasn't really daunting. They seemed short on handlers, and they weren't as explosive as in past years. Our team wasn't overly worried lining up against them as we were against the NY teams. But their numbers were terrific.
