Death or Glory (or whatever we are called) will win it all this fall with no more than 18 players. Maybe not a 14 out of 15 DSG, but Cork (or one of his disciples) will post Dobynsesque numbers for the finals at Nationals. > Many of the top players are cocky, I just want to see how > cocky you guys really are. Jim, Actually, I don't think I'll make Boulder either, but I couldn't resist the urge to razz you a bit. I do enjoy the chest-pounding stuff, though; it adds a little spice to the otherwise humdrum netspeak. If you make it there, good luck, and I hope you (personally) score 21 goals in the finals! Which tourney are you planning on losing? Perhaps you intend to tank Regionals this year? (I suspect this is your strategy, since winning Regionals in the past has not seemed to help your team's performance at The Show.) But that's quite a ways off. How about you really put your waggle where your fingers are? I challenge you to play with a DGS in the finals at Boulder, and to name that person now. Troy troy@u.washington.edu ps - Another famous Boston team with at least one player in common with DOG once took (loosely) a Clash tune as a theme song - "Rude D Can't Fail" - and indeed it did not, as they crushed all challengers at Nationals that year. Coincidentally (?) your current name derives from another cut on the same album, but the prophesy of the second line of that telling couplet is a bit gloomier: "Death or Glory become Just another story."
